Each policy is its own document, with a version and a date, so you can see what applies and when it changed.

  7. Child Safety Policy

    Being written — not in force

    A statement of commitment to child safety; who must hold a Working with Children Check and how it is verified; a signed code of conduct for staff and volunteers; how a concern or allegation is reported and what happens next; the named child safety contact; and how this applies to KIOC staff in Bengaluru, who are not our employees.

    This is the largest gap. Victoria has Child Safe Standards that apply to organisations working with children, and this is the first thing a careful parent looks for.

    What the league provides, what remains the responsibility of players and parents, and what is not yet settled.

  9. Photography and Media Policy

    Being written — not in force

    When photographs and video are taken; what they are used for; how consent is given, recorded and withdrawn; how a parent opts a child out; and how long images are kept.

    Consent given for a training session in 2025 is not consent for a marketing page in 2026. Until this exists, photographs on this site either show nobody identifiable or have consent recorded individually.

    Who decides whether play goes ahead, the lightning rule, and what happens when a ground is closed.

  11. Competition Rules

    The playing conditions — Laws, formats, powerplays, timings, balls, officials, and how a dispute is resolved.

  12. International Travel Terms

    Being written — not in force

    Supervision and staff-to-player ratios; accommodation and overnight supervision; travel and who books it; insurance and what it covers; medical arrangements overseas; passports and visas; costs, payment schedule and refunds; and what happens if a tour is cancelled.

    These apply to the pathway, where children travel to another country. They are separate from the tournament terms and must not be assumed to follow them.
