The first team selection is on Monday 17th February, 2026 from 6 to 9 PM at Junction Oval Cricket Victoria Indoor Facility, St. Kilda followed by the second selection on Monday 24th February from 6 to 9 PM at Elite Cricket Academy, Hoppers Crossing. We may organise a third session for inter state players and anyone who cant make it to the above two sessions. Specific time slots based on groups will be communicated directly to you. League Structure

The Victorian Elite Cricket League (VECL) is an exciting T20 tournament specifically designed for young cricketers aged up to 19. The JT20 Championship will run from 22nd December 2025 to 31st December 2025. Matches will be held during school holidays from 9 am to 5 pm. While the majority of players hail from Victoria and Interstate, the tournament will also feature a select few overseas players, bringing diverse cricketing styles and new challenges to the field. As a dedicated cricket team fan site, VECL keeps you updated through our dedicated VECL App with live scores, live streaming of matches, player profiles, match analyses, and exclusive interviews, ensuring you don't miss a moment of the action. Join us in empowering these young athletes to shine on the turf and beyond, one match at a time.

Talented young cricketers aged up to 19 years who aspire to join the Victorian Elite Cricket League (VECL) can do so by submitting their expressions of interest. The process is now open to both interstate and overseas players. We are taking registrations for the next edition. Once your submission is received, our dedicated coaching panel and talent scouts will carefully evaluate your application. If selected, you will be invited to join our elite program, designed to empower young cricketers to shine on the turf and beyond, one match at a time. Make sure to include all relevant details and achievements in your submission to improve your chances of being noticed.

At VECL, we are excited to announce the December 2025 Junior T20 tournament will take place in Melbourne. The matches will be held between 22/12/2025 to 31/12/2025. Each player will be playing a minimum of six matches on Turf wickets (weather permitting) and finals if their team progress. The matches will be officiated by five officials, Two dedicated professional coaches, two umpires and a scorer. All matches will be live scored and live streamed in YouTube and Facebook. We are committed to providing young cricketers with the best experience and exposure, which is why our matches are hosted at renowned venues featuring Turf wickets. This ensures a top-notch playing environment that mirrors professional standards. Additionally, we regularly organize matches In Australia and overseas, as well as community grounds and school fields across the region, fostering opportunities for our players to gain diverse experiences.
