What is the structure of the Victorian Elite Cricket League and how do the teams compete?The Victorian Elite Cricket League (VECL) is designed to empower young cricketers, providing a platform for them to shine both on and off the turf. The league is comprised of two main franchises, the Western Falcons and the Eastern Panthers with two new Franchises coming on board in March. Each franchise fields five teams: Under 10 Under 11, Under 14 , Under 16 , Under 19 . The teams compete against each other in their age group. This structure not only fosters a spirit of healthy competition but also promotes skill development across various age groups and genders.
