Two different programmes are open at the same time. They have similar names and overlapping audiences, so it is worth thirty seconds to land on the right one.

Wed 4 & Mon 9 November, 7:00pm–9:00pm — Cricket Victoria, Junction Oval indoor centre, St Kilda, and Elite Cricket Academy, Hoppers Crossing. The trials pick the HPIP camp squad and the December junior franchises, and every player gets feedback, selected or not.

New and existing VECL players. Open to boys and girls, and to senior men and women.
What you are registering for
Try-out for the squad of around twenty players travelling to KIOC in Bengaluru.

Team selections for the league season

Who it is for
Players entering the December league season. The franchises are Melbourne-based; players may come from anywhere in Australia or overseas, subject to age group and proof of age.
What you are registering for
Team selection for the league season — for players new to VECL. Existing VECL players are not selected again for December 2026.
