Register for the pathway try-out

High Performance International Pathway (HPIP). Open to new and existing VECL players — boys and girls, and senior men and women.

What you are registering for

This registers a player for the try-out, not for the camp. Around twenty players are selected from the trials on Wednesday 4 November & Monday 9 November 2026, and the squad is named after them.

Register right here — no app and no login. Choose the night (or both), tell us about the player and their cricket, then pay the $20 by card or PayPal on this page. A confirmation with the venue, times and what to bring is emailed straight away.

Cannot be in Melbourne for either night? If you are applying from interstate or overseas, tick “I cannot attend either night” and we contact you to assess the player another way, starting with an interview. The try-out page explains how.

4. Parent or guardian

For a player 18 or over, the player’s own details. This is where the confirmation and selection news are sent.

5. Photographs and video of the player

The Victorian Elite Cricket League photographs and films matches, training and events. We will only use images in which your child can be identified in the ways you agree to below. Level A is required for the High Performance International Pathway (HPIP), because try-outs and selection rely on video and performance analysis. Every other choice is yours and does not affect selection or participation. Your choices last 12 months from today, and you can change them at any time by emailing info@vecl.au. Every league match is streamed live with wide cameras; close-ups and names are used only with level B. See our Photography and Media Policy.
