Important Announcement - Team Selections VECL JT20 July

What an amazing evening it was! Last night, we witnessed an incredible display of talent and enthusiasm as nearly 50 gifted young cricketers participated in the very first Team Selections held at the Junction Oval, within the Cricket Victoria Indoor Nets, St. Kilda. The atmosphere was electric, and the skills exhibited by these aspiring cricketers were nothing short of inspiring. The coaches were thoroughly engaged, not only assessing the players' abilities but also providing valuable guidance and mentorship, nurturing these young talents on their exciting journey toward cricket stardom!

As we look ahead, anticipation builds for the next and final team selections scheduled for June 21st at the Elite Cricket Academy Indoor Nets, located at 87 Elm Park Drive, Hoppers Crossing Vic 3029. This event is set to commence at 6 pm, and we kindly ask all participants to arrive by 5:45 pm for a smooth check-in process. This will ensure that everyone is prepared and ready to make the most of this crucial opportunity. The excitement in the air is palpable as everyone prepares for another round of assessments that will pave the way for the final team composition.

Following this pivotal selection session, the coaches will take on the significant task of announcing the final squad. Selected players will be offered the chance to enrol in the team, marking a significant milestone in their cricketing journey. Once officially enrolled, these young cricketers will join our existing 12 and Under teams that are spread across three dynamic franchises. The first team training session is set to take place on Saturday, June 28th, from 5 to 7 PM at the Elite Cricket Academy, where players will have the opportunity to refine their skills and bond with their teammates. The second and final training session will occur on July 5th at the Junction Oval Indoor Nets, Cricket Victoria, allowing players to further prepare for the challenges ahead.

The all-important and thrilling championship matches are slated to begin on July 7th, and we are eager to share the match schedule with everyone early next week. This will not only help players prepare but will also allow families and friends to rally behind their teams, creating a supportive and spirited environment for our young cricketers.

With all these exciting developments on the horizon, we can hardly contain our enthusiasm as we prepare to kick off the 12 and Under Championship!
