The process is now open to both interstate and overseas players. We are taking registrations for the next edition. Once your submission is received, our dedicated coaching panel and talent scouts will carefully evaluate your application. If selected, you will be invited to join our elite program, designed to empower young cricketers to shine on the turf and beyond, one match at a time. The JT20 Championship will run from 7th July to 18th July 2025. Matches will be held during school holidays from 9 am to 5 pm. While the majority of players hail from Victoria and Interstate, the tournament will also feature a select few overseas players, bringing diverse cricketing styles and new challenges to the field. What is the structure of the Victorian Elite Cricket League and how do the teams compete?The Victorian Elite Cricket League (VECL) is designed to empower young cricketers, providing a platform for them to shine both on and off the turf. The league is comprised of three main franchises, the Western Falcons, Northern Warriors and the Eastern Panthers with One new Franchises coming on board later in 2025. Each franchise fields five teams: 10 and Under & 12 and Under 12 in this edition. The teams compete against each other in their age group. This structure not only fosters a spirit of healthy competition but also promotes skill development across various age groups and genders.
