VECL Indoor Cricket — Winter 2026 is Now Open

We're thrilled to announce the launch of the Victorian Elite Cricket League's first-ever Indoor Tournament — Winter 2026. After delivering 150+ outdoor turf matches across the 2025 season with an exceptional roster of premier-grade coaches, we're bringing that same standard indoors to Pakenham.

Where & When

All matches will be played at our principal sponsor venue: Elite Cricket Academy & Sports Gear Pakenham, 14/99 Bald Hill Road, Pakenham VIC. The competition runs across two school terms — twenty rounds of competition followed by a finals series.

Senior Men's 8-a-side kicks off Wednesday 20 May 2026, with games at 6:00, 7:30, and 8:45 PM. Registration is $120 per team per round.

Junior 6-a-side is open to boys and girls aged 8 to 15. Choose between two streams to suit your family's schedule:

• Friday Stream — starts Friday 29 May 2026 with games at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 PM

• Saturday Stream — starts Saturday 30 May 2026 with games at 9, 10, and 11 AM

Junior team registration is $72 per round.

Real Pathway. Premier-grade coaches will be courtside scouting talent throughout the season. Standout performers will be nominated for league cricket opportunities and the Indoor Sports Victoria state pathway — including the Victoria Hammers state representative program.

Live Scoring on the VECL App. Every ball, every run, every wicket — captured live and visible to family and friends from anywhere. Auto-calculated MVP, Hero of the Match awards, and full season-long player stats. Career profiles persist across seasons.

Structured Format. Properly graded divisions, a full home-and-away season, formal finals series, and recognised individual awards including Premiership Trophy, Best Bat, Best Bowl, Best Fielder, and Players' Player Award per division.

Proven Operator. VECL is not a venue running a comp — it is a competition organisation with a track record of high-quality cricket delivery, the same team that ran 150+ outdoor turf matches last season.

Players can register as a full team or as an individual. Don't have a team? No worries — we'll allocate you to one based on age, skill level, and any friend requests you list.
